٦٩٧ - العالم الفاضل شهاب الدين أحمد بن محمود السِّيوَاسي، ثم الأياثلوغي (١)، صاحب "عيون التفاسير" المشهور بـ"تفسير الشيخ" المتوفى بها سنة ثلاث وثمانمائة. قيل كان عبدًا لبعض أهالي سيواس، فقرأ على علماء عصره وبرع، ثم اتصل بخدمة الشيخ محمد خليفة زين الدين وحَصّل عنده ما حَصّل، ثم ارتحل معه إلى أياثلوغ وأكرمه الأمير ابن آيدين فتوطن هناك. وقبره يزار ويتبرك به. وله"شرح على الفرائض السراجية" و"شرح المصباح" في النحو ورسالة في التصوف، سماها "رسالة النجاة من شر الصفات" ورسالة أخرى في التصوف ومن تصفحها يشهد له بأن له قدمًا راسخة في التصوف. ذكره في "الشقائق" و"حاشيته".
