٦٨٠ - الشيخ الأديب أبو حامد أحمد بن محمد المعروف بأبي الرقَعْمَقْ الشاعر (٥)، صاحب المجنون والنوادر المتوفى بمصر سنة تسع وتسعين وثلاثمائة. قال الثعالبي: كان ممن تصرَّف بالشعر، في أنواع الجد والهزل، وهو بالشَّام كابن حجّاج بالعراق. وأكثر شعره جيد على أسلوب شعر صريع الدّلاء (٦). دخل مصر وأقام بها زمانًا طويلًا، ومعظم شعره في ملوكها. ذكره ابن خلِّكان.
