٦١١ - الشيخ الإِمام شهاب الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن محمد بن عماد الدين بن علي الحنفي المصري المقدسي، المشهور بابن الهايم (٣)، المتوفى بالقدس في رمضان سنة خمس عشرة وثمانمائة، عن اثنتين وستين سنة. اشتغل ومَهَرَ في الفرائض والحساب ودرَّس بالصلاحية بالقدس وصنَّف "المرشدة" ومختصرها "النزهة والمعونة" ومختصرها "الوسيلة في الحساب" و"المقنع" منظومة في الجبر والمقابلة وشرحها المسمى بـ"المسرع والعجالة في استحقاق الفقهاء أيام البطالة" وله ولد اسمه محب الدين، كان نادرة عصره فتوفي قبله. ذكره صاحب "أنس الجليل".
