٦٠٨ - الشيخ أبو عبد الله أحمد بن محمد بن علي بن يحيى بن صدقة، المعروف بابن الخيَّاط التَّغْلبي الشاعر الدِّمشقيّ ويعرف بسَني الدولة الطّرابلسي (٤)، المتوفى بدمشق في رمضان سنة سبع عشرة وخمسمائة، عن سبع وستين سنة. كان من الشعراء المجيدين، طاف البلاد وامتدح الناس وبلغ في النظم الذروة العليا، أخذ بحلب عن محمد بن حَيُّوس الشاعر. وعنه أخذ ابن القيسراني ولما اجتمع بابن حَيُّوس (٦٨ / أ- ب) وعرض عليه شعره قال: قد نعاني هذا الشاب إلى نفسي فقلما نشأ ذو صناعة ومهر فيها إلا وكان دليلًا على موت الشيخ من أبناء جنسه وهو أمر مُجَرَّب (٥). وله "ديوان شعر" (٦) وقد اختار السِّلفي من شعره مجلدًا فسمعه منه.
