٥٩٦ - الشريف عز الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن الحُسيني، نقيب الأشراف، الحلبي ثم المِصْري الحافظ المؤرِّخ (٤)، المتوفى بها في محرم سنة خمس وتسعين وستمائة، عن تسع وخمسين سنة. عني بالحديث وسمع من الزَّكي المنذري والرشيد العطّار. وكان ذا فهم وحفظ. صنَّف "التاريخ" وله "وفيات" ذيَّل بها على "وفيات" شيخه المنذري (٥) إلى سنة أربع وسبعين وستمائة. ذكره الذهبي في "العبر".٥٩٧ - الشيخ أبو العباس أحمد بن محمد عبد الكريم بن أبي سهل (١) الكاتب (٢)، صاحب كتاب "الخراج" المتوفى سنة سبعين ومائتين. ذكره ابن خلِّكان لأجل كتابه.
