٤٩١ - الشيخ عز الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن علي بن مُقْبل الأَزْدي المُهَلَّبي الحمصي النحوي اللغوي (٥)، المتوفى بدمشق في ربيع الأول سنة أربع وأربعين وستمائة، عن سبع وسبعين سنة. نظم "الإيضاح" و"التكملة" لأبي علي ورحل إلى العراق، أخذ النحو عن أبي البقاء العكبري والوجيه الواسطي ببغداد وبدمشق وبرع في العربية والعروض وصنَّف فيهما. وكان شيعياً. من "نحاة" السيوطي. وله شعر رائق وديوان شعر.
