٤٨٧ - الشيخ أبو جعفر أحمد بن علي بن محمد البيهقي، المعروف بجعفرك (١)، المتوفى في رمضان سنة أربع وأربعين وخمسمائة، عن أربع وسبعين سنة. كان إماماً في النحو واللغة والقراءة والتفسير. صنَّف "المحيط في اللغة" و"ينابيع اللغة " و"تاج المصادر" (٥٥ / أ- ب) وغير ذلك. وكان ملازماً لبيته. قرأ "الصحاح" على الميداني وحفظه عن ظهر قلب. كذا في "نحاة" السيوطي.
