٤٥٨ - فتح الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن عبد الواحد بن عبد الكريم بن خلف بن الزَّمَلْكَاني الأنصاري الشافعي، والد الشيخ شرف الدين ونظام الدين وعلاء الدين، المتوفى في صفر سنة تسع وتسعين وستمائة عن أربع وخمسين سنة. روى عن خطيب مردا والصدر البكري وجماعة وشرع في "تاريخ" كبير على نمط ابن خلِّكان وصل فيه إلى حرف الجيم في نحو ثلاثة مجلدات ولو كمل لجاء في ثلاثين مجلداً. ذكره ابن الملقّن.
