٤٤٤ - الشيخ صلاح الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن عبد السيد بن شعبان بن محمد بن جابر بن قَحْطَان الإربلي (٣)، المتوفى في ذي الحجة سنة إحدى وثلاثين وستمائة عن تسع وخمسين سنة. كان من بيت كبير بإربل خدم الكامل فعظمت منزلته عنده وجعله أميرًا وكان ذا فضيلة وله نظمٌ حسنٌ وديوانُ شعرٍ وديوان دوبيت. مات بالرُّها وحمل إلى مصر فدفن (٥٥ / أ- ب) بالقرافة. ذكره ابن خلكان.
