٤٣٧ - الشيخ أبو علي أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن مَنْدُويه الطَّبيب الأصبهاني (٥)، صاحب الرسائل والأشعار وله أربعون رسالة إلى جماعة من أصحابه في الطب وله كتاب "المدخل إلى الطب" و"الجامع المختصر" منه وهو عشر مقالات و"المغيث في الطب" و"كتاب الشراب" و"كتاب الأطعمة والأشربة" و"نهاية الاختصار" و"الكافي" ويعرف بـ "القانون الصغير". ذكره صاحب"عيون الأنباء" وقال: خدم جماعة من ملوك أصبهان وكان من بيت مشهور بها وكان أبوه فاضلًا في الأدب وله أشعار حسنة. انتهى
