٤٢٥ - الشيخ أبو العباس أحمد بن عبد الله، المعروف بحبش الحاسب، المروزي البغدادي (٤)، كان مقدمًا في حساب النجوم، رأسًا في زمن المأمون والمعتصم، بلغ عمره إلى مائة سنة وله ثلاثة "أزياج" الأول على مذهب الهند والثاني الأشهر وهو الممتحن والثالث الصغير وهو الشاهي وله كتاب في العمل بالاصطرلاب وله كتاب "الزيج الدمشقي" و"الزيج المأموني" وكتاب "الأبعاد والأجرام" وغير ذلك. ذكره في "تاريخ الحكماء".
