٤١٥ - القاضي كمال الدين أحمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن عَلْوَان المعروف بابن الأستاذ الحلبي (٤)، المتوفى في شوال سنة اثنتين وستين وستمائة، عن إحدى وخمسين سنة.سمع وحَدَّث وولي الحكم بحلب ودرس بالبهارية، وكان وافر الحُرْمَة عند الناصر ولما أخذها التتار ارتحل إلى مصر. روى عنه الحافظ الدمياطي وكان صدرًا معظمًا "شرح الوسيط" في عشر مجلدات. ذكره السبكي والسيوطي.
