٤٠٨ - القاضي شهاب الدين أحمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن بدر بن عثمان بن جابر الغَزِّي العَامِري الدمشقي الشافعي (٢)، المتوفى بمكة سنة اثنتين وعشرين وثمانمائة، عن اثنتين وستين (٣) سنة. نشأ بغزَّة، ثم قدم دمشق واستوطنها واشتغل وبَرَعَ وأفتى ودرَّس وصنَّف شرحًا على "الحاوي" و"جمع الجوامع" وعلّق على "صحيح البخاري" واختصر "المهمات" و [كتب قطعة] على أوائل "المنهاج" ومنسكًا عظيمًا. وله "نحو المبتغي لمعاني [ما] ينبغي" و"شرح منهاج البيضاوي" و"منتقى ابن خلِّكان" ذكره صاحب "المنهل".
