٣٦٦ - الشيخ الإمام شهاب الدين أحمد بن حمدان بن أحمد بن عبد الواحد بن عبد الغني الأَذْرَعي الشافعي (٢)، المتوفى في جمادى الآخرة سنة ثلاث وثمانين وسبعمائة، عن أربع وسبعين سنة. سمع القاسم بن عساكر وقرأ على المِزِّي والذهبي والتقي السبكي والقلقشندي وناب في القضاء بحلب، ثم ترك واشتغل بالإفادة والتصنيف، فألف "التوسط" و"الفتح بين الروضة والشرح" وشرح "المنهاج" للنووي شرحين أحدهما "القوت" والآخر "الغنية" واختصر "الحاوي للماوردي" وكتب على "المهمات" ولم يكمله وله نظم ونثر، كثير [الإنشاد للشعر، مليح] المحاضرة (٣). من "المنهل".
