٣٦٠ - الإمام أبو بكر أحمد بن حسين بن مِهْرَان الأصبهاني ثم النيسابوري المقرئ الشافعي (٢)، المتوفى بها في شعبان سنة إحدى وثمانين وثلاثمائة، عن ست وثمانين سنة. كان رفيع المنزلة في فنِّه، مع الزهد والورع، صنَّف كتاب "الغاية" و"الشامل في القراءات" (٣). سمع ابن خُزيمة وأبا العباس السَّراج وطبقتهما وحَدَّث بانتقاء الحاكم عليه. من "العبر".
