٣٣٩ - الشيخ أبو علي أحمد بن جعفر الدينوري النَّحوي (١)، المتوفى سنة سبع وثمانين (٣٩/ أ- ب) ومائتين. أخذ عن المازني فقرأ عليه "كتاب سيبويه" وعن المُبَرّد وكان يخطِّئ ثعلبًا ويتوجه إلى المبِّرد ليقرأ عليه ويعاتبه ثعلب فلا يلتفت إليه. ودخل مصر، فلما دخل إليها الأخفش الصغير (٢) عاد إلى بغداد، فلما رجع إليها الأخفش عاد إلى مصر وصنَّف "المهذب في النحو" و"ضمائر القرآن". ذكره السيوطي.
