٢٩٦ - الإمام شهاب الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن أبي بكر بن صالح بن عمر المرعشي الحنفي (٥)، المتوفى سنة اثنتين وسبعين وثمانمائة، عن ست وثمانين سنة. ولد بمرعش وقرأ، ثم رحل إلى عينتاب وتفقّه بها وبحلب، فأُذن له بالإفتاء والتدريس، وبرع في عدة من الفنون وتصدَّر للإفتاء والتدريس سنة ٨٢٠ وصنَّف "كنوز الفقه" ونظم "العمدة في الكلام" وزاد عليها وخمَّس "البردة" وكان فقيه حلب ومنشئها (٦). ذكره في "المنهل".
