٢٨٢ - شهاب الدين أبو العباس أحمد بن إبراهيم بن داود المعرّي الحلبي، المعروف بابن البرهان الفقيه الحنفي (٥)، المتوفى في رجب سنة ثمان وثلاثين وسبعمائة. كان فقيهاً، فاضلاً، له مصنَّفات، منها "شرح الجامع الكبير". وكان شيخ الحنفية بحلب. ناب ودرَّس بالشهابية. ذكره تقي الدين.
