٢٥٤ - رشيد الدين أبو منصور بن أبي الفضل بن علي المعروف بابن الصوري الطبيب (١)، المتوفى في غُرَّة رجب سنة تسع وثلاثين وستمائة بدمشق عن ست وأربعين سنة. اشتغل على الموفق البغدادي وتميَّز في الطب وتخرَّج بالشيخ أبي العباس الجيَّاني المتفرد في علم المفردات وخدم بالطب للعادل ثم لولده المعظم عيسى وابنه الناصر داود وكان له مجلس الطب. حرَّر "أدوية الترياق الكبير" وصنَّف "الأدوية المفردة" وذكر ما لم يذكره المتقدمون وكتاب "الرد على كتاب التاج البلغاري في المفردات"، وله تعاليق ووصايا طبية. ذكره صاحب "عيون الأنباء".
