١٩٧ - شهاب الدين أبو بكر بن يعقوب بن سالم، المعروف بالشهاب الشاغوري النحوي (٧)، تلميذ ابن مالك، المتوفى باليمن سنة ثلاث وسبعمائة. قال ابن حجر كان ماهراً في الفنون، كان يلقي ثلاثين درساً في ثلاثين فناً وصنف تصانيف مفيدة وكان في ضيق العيش بدمشق فسافر إلى اليمن فحصل له قبول [من ملكها]وأقبل عليه أهل اليمن، [وحصل له بها مال كثير] وذكر أنه مات بمصر [في المحرم] سنة ٧٠٤ (١).
