    ١٤٥ - الحكيم الراصد أَبَرْخُسْ (١)، - بفتح الهمزة والبا وسكون الراء المهملة وضم الخاء المعجمة وسكون السين- حكيم يُوناني من الحكماء الكَلْدانيين، له باع طويل في الرياضيات، خصوصاً في علم الرَّصد وعمل آلاته وعليه اعتمد بطلميوس في أرصاده وكثيراً ما يذكره في "المجسطي"، وله كتاب "أسرار النجوم" في معرفة الدول والملل وقد عرَّبوه. ذكره أبو الخير نقلاً عن "تاريخ الحكماء" وقد رصد سنة ثمان وسبعين ومائة لممات الإسكندر كما صرَّح به تقي الدين الراصد في "سدرة منتهى الأفكار" قال: وكان بطلميوس يثق به كل الثقة وكثيراً ما يذكره في "المجسطي" انتهى. * * *
