١٣٢ - الإمام أبو عِمْرَان إبراهيم بن يزيد بن الأسود بن عمرو بن ربيعة بن حارثة بن سعد بن مالك بن النَّخَع النخَعي الكوفي (١)، المتوفى سنة ست وسبعين، عن نيف وخمسين سنة. أخذ عن علقمة والأسود ومسروق، في صباه ورأى عائشة ﵂ ولم يثبت له منها سماع. وكان فقيه أهل الكوفة، صيرفي الحديث، من كبار التابعين وكان يصوم يوماً ويُفطر يوماً. أدرك جماعة من الصحابة وأكثر روايته عن علماء التابعين وكان زاهداً لا يُدرى أهو من الفقراء أو من القراء. أحد الأئمة المشاهير، من كبار التابعين. ذكره ابن خَلِّكان وأمُّه أخت أَسود بن يزيد.
