٩١ - الإمام الحافظ أبو إسحق إبراهيم بن محمد بن حمزة بن عمارة الأصفهاني (٦)، المتوفى في رمضان سنة ثلاث وخمسين وثلاثمائة وعمره ثمانون [سنة]، كان أحد الأعلام. صنَّف "المُسْنَد" على التراجم ألف جزء.قال الحاكم: إن ابن عَبَّاد جمع حُفَّاظ بلدنا بأصبهان: الغَسَّال والطبراني وابن حمزة، فأخذوا في مذاكرة الأبواب، ثم تراجم الشيوخ، فظهر عجزهم عن حفظ ابن حمزة. قال ابن منده: لم أر أحفظ منه. كذا في "طبقات الحفاظ".
