٥٦ - الشيخ الإمام، مُسْنِدُ الشام، تقي الدين إبراهيم بن علي بن أحمد بن فضل الصَّالحي، المعروف بالواسطي الحنبلي (٣)، المتوفى في جمادى الآخرة سنة اثنتين وتسعين وستمائة، عن تسعين سنة. سمع من ابن مُلاعب بدمشق وابن الأستاذ بحلب وابن الجواليقي وجماعة بأصبهان وابن سُكينة وابن طبرزد (٤) ببغداد وحدَّث كثيراً ودرَّس بالصالحية وانتهت الرياسة (٥) في علو الإسناد إليه وولي مشيخة الظاهرية. وكان فقيهاً، عابداً، خشن (٦) العيشة. سمع منه البرزالي وابن سيد الناس والقطب الحلبي والمِزِّي والذهبي وابن تيمية. وكان على كبر سنه يقرأ الختمة (٧) في ركعة واحدة. من "المنهل".
