٤٧ - الشيخ برهان الدين أبو الفضل إبراهيم بن عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن إسمعيل الكَرَكي الأصل القاهري الحنفي (١)، المتوفى في حدود سنة [اثنتين وعشرين وتسعمائة]. ولد بالقاهرة سنة خمس وثلاثين وثمانمائة وحفظ القرآن وتفقه وقرأ الحديث ولازم التّقي الحصني والشُّمُنِي وحضر دروس الكافيجي وأخذ عن ابن الهُمَام وغيره وولي المناصب وعاشر الملوك وجمع في الفقه فتاوى سماه "الفيض" وصنَّف "حاشية على توضيح ابن هشام". ذكره تقي الدين نقلاً عن "الضوء".
