٤٥٠ - السيد علي بن محمد بن أبي القاسم، مؤلف "تجريد الكشاف". له تفسير في ثمانية مجلدات، تلمذ عليه الحافظ محمد بن إبراهيم الوزير، ولما ترك ابن الوزير التقليد وصار متبحرًا في المعارف والعلوم، قام عليه صاحب الترجمة بالإنكار، وأرسل إليه برسالة تدل على عدم الإنصاف ومزيد التعصب، فحرر ابن الوزير في جوابه كتابه "العواصم والقواصم"، قال في "البدر الطالع"، وهو الكتاب الذي لم يؤلف في هذه الديار اليمنية مثله، انتهى. وهذا الكتاب ومختصره المسمى "بالروض الباسم في الذب عن سنة أبي القاسم" موجودان عند راقم هذه الأحرف.
