٤٠١ - سعيد بن محمد المقدسيُّ، المعروف بابن الديري. كان علامة وقته، ذكره في "البدر الطالع"، وقال: ولد في سنة ٨٦٨، وتولى قضاء الحنفية وصار معظَّمًا عند الملوك والوزراء والأمراء، وقد عرض القضاء على ابن الهمام والأمين الاقصرائي، فامتنعا، وقالا: لا يقدران على ذلك مع وجوده. أخذ عنه أهل كل مذهب، له تصانيف، منها: "الكواكب النيرات في وصول ثواب الطاعات إلى الأموات"، و"رسالة في نوم الملائكة، هل هو كائن أم لا"، و"هل منع الشعر مخصوص بنبينا ﷺ أم هو عام لكل الأنبياء؟ "، وله نظم. مات في سنة ٩٦٧، وأكرمه الله قبل موته بشهر بانفصاله عن القضاء، انتهى.
