٣٤٣ - الشيخُ العالمُ الصالحُ، محمد بن أحمد الطوسي. قال الشعراني في "الطبقات": وكان يقول: عليكم باتباع السواد الأعظم، قالوا له: من السواد الأعظم؟ قال: هو الرجل العالم، أو الرجلان المتمسكان بسنة رسول الله ﷺ وطريقته، وليس المراد به مطلق المسلمين، فمن كان معهذين الرجلين، أو الرجل، وتبعه، فهو الجماعة، ومن خالفه، فقد خالف أهل الجماعة، وتوفي ﵀ سنة ٢٢٦.
