٣٠٦ - عمر بن علي بن موسى الأزجيُّ البزاز، الفقيهُ، المحدثُ، سراجُ الدين أبو حفص. ولد سنة ٦٨٨ تقريبًا. سمع من جماعة، وعني بالحديث، وقرأ الكثير، ورحل إلى دمشق، فقرأ بها "صحيح البخاري"، وحضر قراءته الشيخ ابن تيمية وخلقٌ كثير؛ وجالس الشيخ تقي الدين، وأخذ عنه؛ وكان حسنَ القراءة للقرآنوالحديث؛ ذا عبادة وتهجد، وصنف كثيرًا في الحديث، وحج، وتوفي سنة ٧٤٩ - رحمه الله تعالى -.
