٢٣٦ - محمد بن عبد الله بنِ الحسين السامريُّ، يعرف بابن سنينة. ولد سنة ٥٣٥، برع في الفقه والفرائض، وولي القضاء بسامرة. وتوفي سنة ٦١٦، وفي كتابه "المستوعب والفروق" فوائدُ جليلة، ومسائل غريبة. قال ابن رجب: رأيتُ لابن الوليد المحدث إليه رسالة يعاتبه فيها على قوله: إن أحاديث الصفات لا تقبل؛ لكونها أخبارًا آحادًا، وبسط القول في ذلك على طريقة أهل الحديث، وملأها بالأحاديث والآثار المسندة.
