    ١٧٤ - محمد بن أحمد أبو الحسن أحمد البرداني الفرضي. ولد سنة ٣٨٨، صحب الوالد، وسمع الحديث، قال ابن النجار: كان رجلاً صالحًا صدوقًا، حافظًا لكتاب الله، عالمًا بالفرائض، خرَّج تخاريج، وجمع فنونًا من الأحاديث وغيرها. قال: أنبأنا ابن مخلد، قال: أنبأنا إسماعيل الصفار، قال ابن عرفة، قال: أنبأنا المعتمر بن سليمان، قال: سمعت عاصم الأحول يقول: حدثني شرحبيل: أنه سمع أبا سعيد، وأبا هريرة، وابن عمر ﵃ يحدثون: أن نبي الله ﷺ قال: "الذهب بالذهب، وزنًا بوزن، مثلاً بمثل، من زاد وازداد، فقد أربى".
