١٧٣ - عبد الله بن محمد بن القاضي أبي يعلى الفراء. ولد سنة ٤٤٣، سمع الحديث من والده وجدَّه لأمه ورحل في طلب الحديث والعلم إلى الأمصار الكثيرة، له معرفة بعلومه، وبالجرح والتعديل. وكان ذا عفة وديانة وصيانة وسُنة، وحسنَ التلاوة للقرآن، كثيرَ الدرس له. توفي سنة ٤٦٩ ﵀ وعوضه الجنة -، وله ست وعشرون سنة.
