٥٥ - أبو الفرج، عبد المنعم بنُ أبي الفتح، عبدِ الوهاب بنِ سعد بنِ صدقةَ، الملقب: شمسُ الدين الحرَّانيُّ الأصل، البغداديُّ المولد والدار، الحنبليُّ المذهب. كان تاجرًا، وله في حديث السماعات العالية، وانتهت إليه الرحلة من أقطار الأرض، وألحق الصغار بالكبار، لا يشاركه في شيوخه ومسموعاته أحد. كانت ولادته في سنة ٥٠٥، وتوفي في سنة ٥٩٦، ببغداد - ودفن من الغد بمقبرة الإمام أحمد بن حنبل - رضي الله تعالى عنه -. وكان صحيحَ الذهن والحواس إلى أن مات، وتسرى بمئة وثمان وأربعين جارية - رحمه الله تعالى -.
