    ٨٢٣١- المنذر بن الأشع العبديّ: ذكره الأموي في المغازي في، فقال: قدم في وفد عبد القيس، فقالوا: يا رسول اللَّه، جئنا سلما غير حرب، ومطيعين غير عاصين، فاكتب لنا كتابا يكون في أيدينا تكرمة على سائر العرب، فسرّ النبيّ ﵌ بهم، وأمرهم ونهاهم ووعظهم، وكتب لهم كتابا. واستدركه ابن فتحون.
