٤٠٧ - نجم الدين بن أبى الفرج بن سالم الكنانى. قال المنذرى في الوفيات: سمع من ابن برى النحوى وصحبه مدة، وتصدر بالجامع العتيق بمصر مدة، وحدَّث سمعت منه، وسألته عن مولده فذكر ما يدل على أنه ولد سنة تسع وخمسين وخمسمائة، وكان شيخًا حسنًا من أهل الخير والعفاف، وجمع مجاميع فيالفقه وغيره، وأعاد بالمدرسة السنية. مات سنة أربع وثلاثين وستمائة.
