١٦٤٥ - محمد بن عبد اللَّه بن عمر الشيخ زين الدين بن المرحل حفيد الشيخ زين الدين. والد الشيخ صدر الدين، كان رجلًا عالمًا فقيهًا أصوليًا ذكيًا فصيحًا دينًا، ولد بدمياط واشتغل على عمه الشيخ صدر الدين وعلى غيره، درس بالمشهد الحسينى وبالشامية البرانية والمعداوية، وكان يرسم بها للشيخ شهاب الدين بن الأنصارى فقايضه عنهما بالمشهد الحسينى كما سلف، وناب في الحكم مدة عن العلم الأخنائى ثم ترك، ومات ليلة الأربعاء تسع عشرة شهر رجب من سنة ثمان وثلاثين وسبعمائة، كان والدى يقرئه العربية -سقى اللَّه ثراه.
