١٥٠٩ - محمد بن إبراهيم بن أبى عبد اللَّه الحلبى. شيخ النحاة في عصره، ولد بحلب وانتصب بها، ثم استوطن القاهرة للاشتغال وخرج من عنده فضلاء، وتولى مشيخة التفسير بالجامع الطولونى والقبة المنصورية، ومات بسكنه بالمدرسة القطبية في جمادى الأولى سنة ثمان وتسعين عن إحدى وسبعين سنة، سمع وحدث وحفظ ثلث سيبويه، وعلَّق على المقرب، وكان كثير المروءة حسن الخط منظمًا، ومن شعره: "قلت لما سبطوه وجرى دمعه ... الغالى على الخد البلق، غير بدع ما أبو في معلمهم ... هو بدر سيروه بالشفق".
