١٤٧٤ - أحمد بن فرح -بفتح الراء ثم حاء مهملة- بن أحمد الإمام الحافظ شهاب الدين أبو العباس اللخمى الإشبيلى الشافعى. ولد ببلده سنة خمس وعشرين وستمائة، وأسره الفرنج وتخلَّص منهم، وتفقه على ابن عبد السلام، عرض عليه مشيخة دار الحديث النووية فأبى، له قصيدة حسنة في أنواع علوم الحديث أولها: "غرامى صحيح والرجا فيك معضل ... وحزنى ودمعى مرسل ومسلسل". سمعها منه الدمياطى، مات سنة تسع وتسعين وستمائة.
