١٤٦٧ - محمد بن أبى الغنائم بن معن بن سلطان الصيدلانى الشيخ شمس الدين أبو الفضل الشيبانى الدمشقى. كان أبوه تاجرًا فسافر إلى بغداد فولد ولده هذا بها، وأجاز له ابن شاثيل وغيره وسمع من أبى المواهب بن صصرى وغيره، روى عنه التاج بن الفركاح وغيره، تفقه على ابن شداد قاضى حلب بها وحفظ كتاب الوسيط، وله "التنقيب على المهذب" في جزئين، أخطأ في عدة أحاديث نسبها إلى الصحيحين وغيرهما فلم يوجد فيها لا أدرى كيف وقعت له وقد نبهت عليها في التحرير المذهب في تخريج أحاديث المهذب، وكان إمامًا مناظرًا مقرئًا أديبًا، مات سنة أربعين وستمائة.
