١٤١٤ - إسماعيل بن حامد بن عبد الرحمن شهاب الدين القوصى ثم الدمشقى. ولد سنة أربع وسبعين وخمسمائة، وسمع ورحل وخرج لنفسه معجمًا فيه غرائب وغلط كثير، درس بحلقته التى وقفها بجامع دمشق، روح عنه الدمياطى وغيره، مات سنة ثلاث وخمسين وستمائة بدمشق، ودفن بداره التى وقفها دارًا للحديث.
