١٢٩٥ - القاسم بن الحافظ أبى القاسم بن عساكر بهاء الدين أبو محمد. سمع من أبيه وغيره وأجاز له أكثر شيوخ والده، وكتب الكثير حتى أنه كتب تاريخ والده مرتين، وكان حافظًا، وله كتاب "فضل الحرم"، و"فضل المدينة"، و"فضل المسجد الأقصى" وأملى كثيرًا وحدث، سمع منه خلق منهم الحافظ على بن المفضل المقدسى ووصفه بالحفظ، ولى النورية ولم يتناول من معلومها شيئًا، وكان ناصرًا للسنة مجدًّا فيإماتة البدعة، ودخل مصر وانتفع به أهلها، مات سنة ستمائة.
