١٢٤٩ - الحسين بن نصر بن محمد الجهنى الكعبى أبو عبد اللَّه. من أهل الموصل المعروف بابن خميس نسبة إلى جده الأعلى، تفقه على الغزالى، وسمع من ابن المظفر وغيره، ولى قضاء رحبة مالك بن طوق، قال ابن السمعانى: إمام فاضل ديِّن. ولد ببلده سنة ست وستين وأربعمائة، ومات سنة اثنين وخمسين وخمسمائة، ومن مصنفاته: "منهج التوحيد"، "منهج المريد" "تحريم الغيبة"، "فرح الموضح" على مذهب زيد بن ثابت.
