١١٨٢ - محمد بن على بن عبد اللَّه الجاوانى. قبيلة من الأكراد سكنوا الحلّة، تفقه على الغزالى وغيره فبرع وقرأ المقامات على مؤلفها وشرحها، وله "عيون الشعراء"، و"الفرق بين الراء والعين" عاش اثنين وتسعين سنة، ومات حدود سنة ستين وخمسمائة، وقال ابن النجار: بلغنى أن مولده سنة ثمانوستين وأربعمائة. ومن شعره: "دعانى من ملامة دعانى ... فداعى الحب للبلوى دعانى، أحاب له الفؤاد ونوم عينى ... وسارا في الرقاق وودَّعَانى، فطرفى ساهر في طول ليلى ... وقلبى في يد الأشواق عانى، فكيف يصبح للعذال سمعى ... ولا عقلى لدىَّ ولا خيالى".
