٨٢١ - عبد اللَّه ابن الإمام أبى داود سليمان بن الأشعث السجستانى. الحافظ ابن الحافظ، ولد سنة ثلاثين ومائتين، ومات سنة ست عشرة وثلثمائة، وصُلى عليه ثمانون مرة، روى عنه الدارقطنى وغيره، صاحب كتاب "المصاحف" وحدَّث بأصبهان من حفظه ثلاثين ألف حديث، ذكره العبادى وقال: قال الربيع قال الشافعى: ما أريد أحد بالكلام فأفلح.
