٧٣٥ - محمد بن خفيف بن أسيد كشاذ الضبى الشيرازى. الشيخ أبو عبد اللَّه بن خفيف من أعلم المشايخ بعلوم الظاهر صحب رويمًا وغيره،وصنف ما لم يصنفه أحد كما قاله أبو العباس السرى وعمر، وكان يأكل عشر حبات زبيب لإفطاره قال وما وجب عليَّ زكاة الفطر أربعين سنة مع مالى من القبول بين الخاص والعام. قال السلمى: وهو فقيه على مذهب الشافعى. وكان يحضر مجلس ابن سريج لدرس الفقه وضعف في آخر عمره عن القيام فجعل بدل كل ركعة من أوراده ركعيتن قاعدا للخبر: "صلاة القاعد على النصف من صلاة القائم" (١). قلت: الخبر محمول على غير المعذور. مات سنة إِحدى وسبعين وثلثمائة قال الذهبى: وقد جاوز المائة.
