    ٥٤٦ - أبو نصر البندنيجى محمد بن هبة اللَّه بن ثابت. من كبار أصحاب الشيخ أبى إسحاق ويعرف بفقيه الحرم؛ لأنه نزل بمكة فجاور بها نحوًا من أربعين سنة، وكان يعتمر في رمضان ثلاثين عمرة، وهو ضرير يؤخذ بيده، وكان يقرأ في كلِّ أسبوع ستة آلاف مرة: "قل هو اللَّه أحد"، صنف كتاب "المعتمد في الفقه" في جزئين ضخمين، نقل عنه في البيان في الوتر وغيره، أخذ صاحب البيان عنه الفقه ونقل عنه. قال التفليسى: ولد سنة سبع وأربعمائة، ومات بعد سنة سبعين، وقال غيره: مات سنة خمس وتسعين باليمن بقرب ثغر أبى مقصود.
