٣٩٠ - أسعد بن محمود بن خلف بن أحمد بن محمد أبو الفتوح العجلى. الواعظ الأصبهانى، ذكره الرافعى في مسألة الدور -وهو عصريه- فقال: قال الشيخ الإمام أبو الفتوح العجلى تصحيح الدور يلزم منه المحال. ومات قبل الرافعى نيّف العشرين سنة، كما ستعلمه، "شرح إشكالات الوسيط"، و"المهذب" في جزء، وصنف "التتمة" وسمع وأكثر، وكان زاهدًا ورعًا يأكل من كسب يده وسبع ما يتقوّت به غيره، وكان عليه المعتمد في الفتوى بأصبهان، يقال ترك الوعظ وصنف كتابًا سماه "آفات الوعاظ"، قال ابن الدُّبَيْثى: بلغنى أن مولده سنة خمس عشرة وخمسمائة ومات في صفر سنة ستمائة.
