٢٥٥ - عبد الرحمن بن مأمون أبو سعد المتولى. صاحب "تتمة الإبانة" بلغ فيها إلى الحدود وله أيضًا كتاب في الخلاف، ومختصر في الفرائض، ومصنف في الأصول، أخذ الفقه عن القاضى حسين وغيره، ولى تدريسالنظامية بعد الشيخ أبى إسحاق فعزل بابن الصباغ بعد أقل من شهر ثم أعيد إليها سنة سبع وسبعين إلى أن توفى سنة ثمان وسبعين وأربعمائة، وكانت ولادته سنة ست وعشرين وأربعمائة.
