٢٢٥ - طاهر بن عبد اللَّه بن طاهر القاضى أبو الطيب الطبرى. من آمل طبرستان، أحد أئمة المذاهب وشيوخه، تفقه على أبى الحسن الماسرجى وغيره، وسمع الدارقطنى، وعنه الخطيب وصاحب المهذب، توفى عن مائة وستين لم يختل عقله ولا تغير فهمه. قال: لم أعصى اللَّه بشئ من جوارحى قطُّ. شرح المختصر وصنف في الخلاف والأصول والجدل، قال البافى: هو أفضل من أبى حامد الإسفرائينى. قال القاضى أبو الحسن محمد بن محمد: ابتدأ القاضى أبو الطيب يدرس الفقه ويتعلم العلم وله أربع عشرة سنة فلم يخلّ به يومًا واحدًا إلى أن مات. ولد سنة ثمان وأربعين وثلثمائة، ومات سنة خمسين وأربعمائة، ودفن بباب حرب إلى جانب أبى عبد اللَّه البيضاوى.
