٢١٦ - محمود بن الحسن بن محمد أبو حاتم القزوينى. تفقه على الشيخ أبى حامد، وعنه صاحب التنبيه، وصنف كتبًا كثيرة في المذهب والخلاف والأصول والجدل، مات سنة أربعين وأربعمائة قاله السمعانى، وقال الذهبى: تقريبًا في حدود ستين وأربعمائة، نقل عنه الرافعى في مواضع؛ منها أوائل القضاء، ونقل في الروضة من زوائده في آخر الشفعة عن كتابه المسمى "بالحيل" وهو لطيف. وولده أبو الفتوح محمد وحفيده عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن أبى حاتم ذكرتهما في الذيل.
